Free resources for purchasing a used ATV or UTV

#1

Check the VIN

The first thing we recommend our customers do when purchasing a used machine is to check the Vehicle Identification Number to ensure the vehicle has not been stolen or salvaged.

#2

Free Pre-Purchase Inspection Checklist

It is always best to be prepared when inspecting an ATV/UTV to ensure nothing goes unnoticed.  Print out our free Pre-Purchase Inspection Checklist that we use, to ensure you buy a quality machine.

#3

Check The Value

Now that you have checked the VIN, and inspected the machine, what is a good price to pay? Check Kelly Blue Book, the asking price should be somewhere between Trade-In and Suggested Retail Value. Be sure to negotiate into the price any repairs you uncovered with the checklist.

#4

Bring a Bill of Sale

If you do decide to buy or sell a used machine having a Bill of Sale for both parties is never a bad idea. Be sure to include the VIN number, year, make, model, odometer, and the signatures of both the buyer and the seller.
